Starts Oct. 23 in Newport Starts Oct. 31 in Lincoln City This month, the Small Business Development Center will present "Profit Mastery," a 4-part, DVD-based powerhouse of a business education class held over four consecutive weeks. Sessions are planned for both Newport and Lincoln City OCCC campuses. 'Profit Mastery' is designed to help established businesses improve their bottom-line performance. The course will review financial statement fundamentals, and will be facilitated by Ron Spisso, who will guide participants through a workbook and a series of videos that will enhance the learning experience.

This intensive seminar focuses on state and federal regulations that apply to Oregon employers. Topics include minimum wage, overtime, payroll deductions, final paychecks, exempt and non-exempt employee classification, independent contractors, and more.
