Chamber Launches Beautification Program

The Chamber recently launched a Waldport Beautification Recognition Program.  Our first recipient, Azul Mexican Restaurant, was acknowledged at the Chamber’s February luncheon.  We selected Azul to recognize their recent interior remodel and exterior upgrades. If you haven’t visited the restaurant since these updates, you’ll want to check it out.

They’ve added beautiful stonework to the entryway, spruced-up the restrooms, and added new flooring, tables, and chairs. They also added new siding and painted the outside very nice complimentary subtle earth tone colors. And, it only cost a few thousand dollars! What an inspiration to our other local businesses. Thank you, Martin and Teresa Romero, for increasing the value of your business and making a difference in our community.  We’ll all be sure to come in once you re-open.

See the story on Facebook here.

The Chamber would love your ideas to recognize other local establishments for their efforts to make our town more beautiful and welcoming. Please email your recommendations to director@waldportchamber.org. Going forward the Chamber will be submitting grants to help fund private and public beautification efforts. If you’d like to participate or learn more, please let us know.
