The annual "Great Garage Sale" will occur on May 11, 2013.
A map has been created and posted to this site with the over 90 locations signed up to participate. Be sure to wear comfy shoes as there are so many places to visit and find terrific deals!
Don't miss this fun of this annual event. Sales and bargains galore all over town and the near-by locations. Have fun!

The 57th Annual Beachcombers Event is in the planning stage and needs volunteers to ensure it is a terrific success for all of Waldport to enjoy and to bring visitors from miles around. Don Atkinson has stepped up to facilitate the event. Active participation in Beachcombers is an Atkinson tradition as Don's father and grandfather served in the past. Don will chair weekly meetings at 6:00 pm on Mondays at the Waldport Heritage Museum from now until the event in June. Please come to the meetings and get in on the action. Please bring your ideas and your willingness to participate. For more information call Don at 541-272-2434.

Waldport has a beautiful, colorful new sign on Hwy 101 as you enter from the south. The Waldport Chamber of Commerce commissioned Casey McEneny, a very talented local artist and school teacher to make the sign. Pioneer Telephone and the City of Waldport supplied the poles and labor to erect the sign which was unveiled September 14. Mayor Susan Woodruff, City Manager Nancy Leonard and several Chamber members and citizens were on hand to see Mark Campbell, Waldport Chamber President and Casey unveil the sign. The Waldport Chamber of Commerce funded this project.

The 2013 Waldport Chamber of Commerce's Annual Golf Tournament will be held July 27 at Greenside Golf Club. Be sure to sign up and have a day full of fun on the green.

The Waldport Chamber of Commerce now has T shirts, sweatshirts and hats for sale in the Interpretive Center. Stop by when you can and visit the center with it's awesome displays of the history of the area as well as lots of information and brochures of the area. The volunteers there look forward to meeting you.

Board of Directors meet the first Thursday of each month at 5:30pm in the Waldport Visitors Center.
Monthly Membership Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. Time, place and special speakers change each month and will be posted prior to the meeting.
